美国文化知识是一门能够帮助学生了解“不同的沟通方式”的课程。美国是和中国有着完全不同的社会规则，文化思想和身份地位的国家。你想用最好的方式在美国来代表你的家庭，你的国家吗？你想被误解，还有可能在美国不小心陷入麻烦吗？我会帮助你，确定你不会遇到这些问题。
我的课程展现给学生一条通往美国的快乐健康的路途并帮助他们在美国拥有家的感觉。因为我在中国长大，在一个美国家庭和社区生活，我有能力帮助学生避开来到另一个国度的文化冲击。比起让学生们用他们宝贵的时间来应付迎面而来的迷茫和失望，让他们准备好去度过美国学校的生活并交到难忘的朋友不是更好吗？许多学生好像都感觉自己有一个能明白他们的观点的，展示给他们在未来将要度过的真实经历的良师益友。当我来到美国的时候，我多么希望有个人能在我来之前帮助我准备。现在，我将用我的技巧和洞察力来帮助学生避开那些你永远也不想面对的文化和语言冲击。
American Culture is the class that will teach a student “the tools of the trade.” The United States is an entirely different country with many social rules and cultural thoughts and identities that differ from China. Do you want to represent your family in the greatest way in the United States? Would you want to be misunderstood and possibly face trouble in the United States accidently? I will make sure that you will not.
My course shows students the path towards a happy and healthy life in the United States and helps them feel right at home when coming. Because I grew up in China and live in an American family and community, I am able to clearly help students avoid the “culture shock” when coming to a new foreign country. Rather than a student using their important time to be confused and lose hope, have them be prepared and enjoy doing well in school and making unforgettable friends. Many students seem to feel as if they have a mentor who understands their point of view and can show them the realistic experience they will have. When I came to the United States, I wish I had someone who could have prepared me before hand. Now I use my skills and insight to help student avoid all of the shock you never want them to have.
